Hall of Fame

History

To commemorate the Millennium the Sporting Hall Of Fame was formed in partnership between Peter W Holmes (WSAC Chairman) and Wolverhampton City Council, to recognise the distinguished performances of local sports people on the world stage.

The first sports person to be inducted was Charles Stowe (Walker Cup Golfer) since this there is an Annual Induction Ceremony for new members. Any sports club or organisation reaching their Centenary Year are also celebrated within this initiative. The Sporting Hall Of Fame can be viewed at Aldersley Stadium, Wolverhampton.
